Going For Lasik

I have been declared short-sighted since I was 12. Those thick glasses has been very awful in my appearance. I decided to invest in contact lenses when I was 16 till today. I can't imagine how much I have spent in those contact lenses and solutions throughout the years.

Due to aging, my eyes turn out to be drier than ever. This made me switch from permanent lenses to disposable lenses. Anyway, the condition doesn't seem to be improved a lot. I cannot put on contact lenses more than eight hours, or else my eyes would be in red. *sigh*

When people talk about Lasik, I do have an urge in it. I guess I would have save a lot with a pair of healthier eyes after Lasik. I believe in the survey of FDA Lasik and hope to know more about this new technology. To pick the best Lasik doctor is the most important thing of all then.

Night Clubbing At ZENZO

I couldn't sleep throughout Tuesday night. My tummy was bloated, most probably due to the oily food taken in the afternoon. I even caught slight fever when woke up the next morning. I felt like vomitting till I couldn't walk and send my kids to school.

I was determined to nap for the whole afternoon, as I must recharged my energy for the event that night. It was my hubby's pub opening night. I insisted to drag my weak body for the night clubbing as my friends are going too.

Hubby recommended new drinks to me. He said that it suits ladies' taste. Of course, the drinks contain low percentage of alcohol. I just took a few sip as my stomach was still not so well. Not sure which flavour I took, but I don't like the taste. It tasted like cough mixture to me. Maybe, I still recalled the taste of medicine I took earlier the day!

There was something embarrasing happened on that night!

Can anyone notice something funny here? For sure, everyone can! Seem like Lovelymummy and I have the same instinct. No wonder we are good friends for so long..... LOL

Shoppingmum is right. We should consider picking up knitting interest. Anyway, it is a bit too costly for me at this moment. Maybe in future, own knit wear could be the unique apparel for myself!

We didn't dance that night. Maybe we didn't drink much till we steam and made our bodies move. We just enjoyed the live band and chit chat with friends. I couldn't stay longer as I needed to rest early. I went home at around 11:30pm, but my man still had to stay and work. Well, business was not bad that night. Well done and keep it up, hubby!

Am I Still Attractive?

Well, well, I couldn't believe that I have a crush on someone today. I used to go online in Old Town Kopitiam where I met this man. He was with another friend, and I sensed that someone was watching me while I was busy blogging. This young man then walked up to my table and introduced himself. He wanted to make friend with me. He was a bit shattered in his words. I was a bit surprised too.

Anyway, there was something funny in the scene. He asked about my name and job. Without a second hesitate, I told him that I'm not working. Well, it's common for a married lady to be unemployed. He gave me a shocking sigh ..... "huh!"...... He must be wondering why a young girl like this never go out to work. He must have some misunderstanding and just rounded up his conversation by saying that we could go for tea one day. I just simply replied.... "Orr!" since he didn't ask for any contact, nothing to promise or worry then!

I felt amused whenever I thought of his reaction when he knew that I'm not working. Maybe he was out on something like wanting to close a sale from me. Some kind of sales man.... ??? Nah...what to bother! Just pray that he is not someone bad with intentions.

I must have more confident to myself, that 'I AM STILL ATTRACTIVE!'. Hahaha! =D

Cough And Cough Non-Stop

I'm down with some kind of flu and viral infection. Sore throat pain reduced, but still with running nose and worse still, I cough non-stop. Those infectious phlegms are loaded in me and irritate my throat. It causes my throat to be itchy and I want to cough all the time. I just can't get a good night sleep.... :(

I didn't visit any doctor, as I am taking herbs. I don't want to take anymore antibiotics again. I am now trying to fight those virus with own immune system. Hope that I could be successful this time. It has been dragged for almost a week.

I have been using Loreal skincare products for a year. I can't say they are not good, but I feel that the product are too greasy for my skin. I'm now trying out TheFaceShop skincare products. Unknown Skin Allergy On My Thigh

I got this mark on my thigh almost more than six months. I don't know how I got this. Maybe it is due to the hormone changes in the body after delivery. It was very red all the while. Spots could be seen clearly on my fair skin. People thought that it is a love bite! LOL I dare not wear any shorts when going out. I tried applying everything on it, but still couldn't get rid of it. Not even the skin specialist could help in this case.

I nearly gave up, when my mum reminded me of this skin specialist in Silibin, Dr. Sri Selva. I was once cured by him when I had a patch of itchy rashes around my neck during my teenage. He prescribed this yellow clear cream and advised me to apply on the affected part few times a day.

He has one patient who has some unidentified red marks on her arms. Those marks were gone after using the cream for half a year. I'm using the second container, and the result shows improvement. The red spots are lightened and smear now.

Hopefully it will go away after applying the cream for a few more months. Or else, the specialist has to cut a small piece of my skin out for lab test if I really want to know what it is and cure it directly. I'm scared as the wound is needed to be stitched back. Yerrr.....I don't want to be hurt! :(

I give a few choices of prospective careers to my ambitious godsister. I encourage her that Certified Nurse Assistant (cna) career is going to be popular very soon. She can pursue cna courses in either California or Florida. There are many well-known cna schools to be explored in the website. Cna must undergo 48 hours of in-service cna training or college courses every two years to renew their license. It is really not easy to be a qualified cna as the person must carry the characters of devotion and caring personality.

Sonographer In Demand

My godsister is already in Secondary One. She often discusses about her ambition and career path in future with me. I suggest that she could consider about degree programs in sonography schools overseas. Career in sonography tech is expected to evolve rapidly in the next coming five years. Due to the aging of the population and the increased demand for sonographic procedures, well-trained sonographers will be in great demand. I advise my godsister not to reject being a sonography technician when graduates. Take that chance to gain more experience so that she will have a better offer in the next association. She agrees fully with my opinion.

Poor Quality Of Apparels

What is it again? I often grumble nowadays, maybe due to my metabolism aging and hormonal changes. LOL ! Hopefully it won't be worst when I'm old next time.

I have my favourite boutique in town. I will hop in every boutique to shop for apparels but eventually, I will only end up buying a lot in my favourite boutique. I used to feel that their fashion and price suit my requirements. I like the service there, and somehow the promoters are very friendly to me. But then, I am a bit disappointed in their clothes lately. I like sharp-coloured clothes and I find that the colours can easily come out once rinsed in water. Listen carefully here. Plain water without detergent! The colours can easily stain on my other clothes if not taken care properly. I hate that. My Guess bag has been the victim earlier!

I am going to complain to the staff there. I have no intend to insult but try to make them aware and improve their products' quality. I am also one of their regular customer mar....I have the right.

My Guess Bag, Gone!

Those who follow me from my ancestor blog may know that I received a Valentine's present earlier this year from hubby, right? It was my dream Guess bag.

Disaster happened yesterday! I was wearing a blue jean. That lousy jean caused blue stains on my lovely handbag! My God! Finish! It won't be a perfect bag to me anymore. :(

Shocking right? The jean was not wet, neither was my handbag. How did the colour come out? I suspected that it was due to the friction between the two material. I can't show in this post, as it is not obvious when published in photo. To me, the colour is obvious, even though it's light blue. Shall I say I was lucky too, as those stains were at the back of the handbag! *sigh* Yeah, still can be used. Why waste??

I hate that jean! Dumped it right after I reached home that night! No more second chance for it!!

How naive I was to bring the bag to Guess store in Jusco hoping for rescue this afternoon. Unfortunately, the staff has no idea about the remedy.

Romantic Story Of "An Empress And The Warriors"

I thought this movie must be very boring at first. I was forced to watch the movie last night as my friend had bought the tickets for hubby and me.

The movie has indeed given me a different view on it. Yes, the story is all about war in the ancient China, where people fought for power and land possession. But, when I watched further, the story began to be interesting. I enjoyed those romantic scenes between Kelly Chen and Leon Lai. How I wish I could fly with my lover with the large hot-air balloon made by rags! So sweet!


For those who likes action shots, Donnie Yen's kung fu would surely satisfy your indulgence.


Synopsis: The story is set in ancient China before its unification, during which countless kingdoms battle for supremacy. Actually I was facing some system bugs in my previous blogs in blogspots, which are "Mummy In Vain's Little World" and "Yum Yum Cuisine". I'm sure some of you might have difficulties when trying to enter my blogs. The above url have been changed by blogger system. I can't do anything with it. The most saddened thing was, I couldn't reach the blogger support team for help.

I have no choice but to abandon my ancestor blogs. I sign up blogger again with the same url address. Surprisingly, the url address is still available and it still carries a PR2!
